Who we are
BumpOnIt is operated by Birthsparks Ltd, registered in Scotland, company number SC437142, at 6 Alloway Place, Ayr, Scotland, KA7 2AA. Contact cass@birthsparks.com.
Our service
We provide product discovery, retailer links, editorial resources and private wishlists. You can browse without an account. An account is needed to save lists across devices. The service is intended for adults; do not create accounts on behalf of children.
We do not currently sell products, process product payments or operate a marketplace checkout. We are not the retailer or a party to a purchase contract you make with a linked retailer. Confirm the exact product, current price, stock, delivery, returns and any applicable terms on the retailer's website before buying. Contact that retailer about an order, refund or product complaint; contact us about an inaccurate listing or a problem with BumpOnIt.
Advertising and affiliate links
Product offers are identified as advertising / affiliate links. Where a retailer or affiliate network tracks a qualifying purchase through our link, Birthsparks Ltd can receive commission. This does not add a BumpOnIt charge to your order. Not every link is necessarily monetised; the listing label explains the route. We aim to make selections useful and relevant, but the catalogue is not a comprehensive comparison of every retailer or the whole market. A listing or badge is not a guarantee of the lowest price, safety or suitability.
Our guides and sourced resources are general information. Commercial relationships or product-manufacturer sources should be identified where relevant. Links to related offers do not turn a recording's creator into our spokesperson, and do not imply the creator endorses BumpOnIt.
Information, health and third-party content
We try to keep information clear and current, but prices, offers, links and external recordings can change. Prices are in GBP unless expressly stated otherwise. Last-checked dates describe our listing review, not live stock verification.
Content is not personalised medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Discuss decisions about pregnancy, birth or a baby's health and safety with an appropriately qualified professional, and follow relevant manufacturer instructions. Do not delay obtaining care because of content here. Third-party recordings remain the responsibility of their creators; embedding or linking does not mean we independently verified every claim. Contact us about errors, rights or safety concerns.
Accounts and wishlists
Keep your account secure, provide accurate account details and tell us about suspected misuse. Wishlists are private planning tools, not public registries, reservations, orders or promises about availability. You may rename and delete them, export the wishlist data we hold, and request account deletion through account settings or our privacy contact. Read our privacy notice.
Acceptable use and rights
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful material or infringe anyone's rights. Do not put sensitive medical or third-party personal information into lists or messages. Site branding and original editorial material belong to Birthsparks Ltd or their respective rights holders. Third-party images and recordings remain subject to their owners' rights. Links and embeds do not grant permission to copy or redistribute them.
Availability, responsibility and changes
We may maintain, change or withdraw features, and may restrict accounts for misuse or security reasons. We will act reasonably and give appropriate notice where practicable. Keep a copy of lists you rely on. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that third-party services remain available.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits mandatory consumer rights. We remain responsible where applicable law requires it. We may update these terms; material changes affecting accounts will be explained appropriately.
Complaints and applicable law
Contact us first to try to resolve a complaint. These terms are governed by Scots law, subject to any mandatory protections available to consumers under the law of their country of habitual residence. Nothing here removes a consumer's right to bring proceedings in a competent court available under applicable law.
